My family loves Mike's! Berea staple for good food and the best neighborhood atmosphere, especially in the summer when the patio is open!
This place has a great variety of craft beer to pick from. From sours, barrel aged beer and to your regular favorites. We had the buffalo egg roll and that thing was massive. Really cool app and very tasty. I tried one of their specials that was a catfish Reuben. It wasn't my favorite but very good still. All of the staff were great and friendly.
This was a carry out order. It was ready on time. Always wanted to dine in sometime, but never had the occasion.
Had a great time. Nice place to watch a game. Great food portions for the price. Kid friendly and pet friendly. Nice place to stop by have a few beers and eat.
Unbelievable chorizo and beef burger! Incredibly soft pretzel bun, the meatloaf is very, very good. They pile the mash potatoes high with dark gravy. The beer soup is delicious and thick. The salad was fresh and crisp. The service is extraordinary. They have a large beer selection. A very nice patio.
We have had the opportunity to visit Mike's bar and grill twice now since moving to the area. Our visit yesterday mirrored our first visit experience from back in early spring. Service was excellent, food was wonderful, and the general atmosphere was great. This is very much a place that has regulars and we could tell as each of them walked in, everyone on staff recognized them, greeted them, and had quick friendly chats through the course of waiting on the other guests. Leads to a great feeling atmosphere and something you never truly get in a chain type restaurant.
MBAG (Mike's Bar and Grill) is a great spot for some good drinks and food. It can be pretty busy inside depending on when you get there. Also, be aware that the owner is trying to correct the kitchen time on Google, but the kitchen closes at 9p, not 10p throughout the whole week! I usually get the chicken parm sandwich (which is stellar!) but tried the august porkbelly blt taco special. It was honesty very underwhelming. I subbed regular mayo for the Sriracha, but the real issue was the micro sliver of meat. I could barely taste. And I'm saying it was like a quarter piece of bacon but pork belly instead. Anyways, the other food at the table was delicious (except the fresh cut fries were a tad undercooked). Only other thing to mention is that the patio is lovely! But, if you get seated at a high top under the umbrellas, and it gets dark, there are no lights. And it's pretty dark, to the point where it's hard to see your meal. Service was very good, very friendly! Great place and definitely frequent a couple times a month.
Whenever I'm in Cleveland I go to Mikes. So, twice. But it's an awesome place! When in Cleveland go to Mikes.
My go- to spot for lunch. Burgers are my favorite, and my wife really enjoys the Salads and wraps. You can never go wrong with their monthly specials. Everyone is always very friendly and the service is consistently on point.
